Advanced Handstand
60 minutes of handstands is quite intensive, so come prepared to work. For your safety, you’ll need to have very durable wrists and shoulders.
Designed for members who already have a free-standing handstand, comfortable climbing the wall and able to bail / fall safely. (If not, go to the Calisthenics Class & learn basic handstand skills there!)
Not suitable for anyone with injuries, heart conditions, osteo or any condition that might be worsened by a fall.
Advanced Handstand Class
for Intermediate & Advanced
If you are relatively fit and you’ve unlocked a free standing handstand, you’re welcome to attend the Advanced Handstand Class.
In this class we will dedicate 60 minutes to our handstand practice.
Note that this class is demanding in terms of the time spent on your hands and not suitable for beginners who are starting their fitness journey. For your safety, if you are a beginner or just starting your fitness journey, take the beginner route below.

BEGINNERS READ THIS:
If you are just beginning, Here are the some classes you should attend instead:
L9 Program – To develop an all round fit body
Stretch Class – Invest in your flexibility, you’ll need it for quality handstands!
Strength Class – Invest in strength to increase the time you can spend upside down
Calisthenics Class – We train and learn handstands as part of this class
Bodyweight Fitness Classes
Everything starts with developing fitness at L9. So we’ve put together an effective bodyweight program anyone can do.
L9 Fitness (formally L9 Program) is the foundation of our training system, developing strength, mobility, and flexibility for everyone in just 60 minutes. Running year-round in 12-week cycles, it’s the core of L9 and our no.1 fitness class. Beginner Friendly.
This is the best class to choose as your first class at L9.
L9 Skills is all about learning calisthenics and handstands, developing strength, coordination, and body control. Designed for all levels, it works in tandem with the L9 Program. Over the year, we systematically break down our training into 2 week mini-programs to develop the handstand, muscle ups, levers, flags and more.
This is a beginner friendly class, but it is recommended that you make your first class the Fitness one.
L9 Squad brings members together to refine advanced skills and techniques in a supportive group environment. It builds on the L9 Fitness Class and L9 Skills Class. This invite only 2 hour training session is a very fun session, dedicated on progression for those who qualify. (Qualification rules in the L9 App)
